I have only actually decorated less than half a dozen outdoor koi ponds. It's not that I do not have the confidence in doing so. It is just that in most cases, outdoor fish pond pumps and decorating has always fallen into the area of landscape designers.

I thought about that pond and had the bright idea to build one for myself. As much as I really want a pond filter of my own, I wasn't sure of the design, construction and upkeep it would require.
